Community & Partnerships

Built on Trust, Shaped by Community — how D&S Group invests in people, local suppliers and the Pilbara

We are committed to buying locally and partnering with businesses, communities and organisations across Pilbara and WA

At D&S Group, community is not a policy — it is who we are. As a proudly Australian-owned and operated business led by Managing Director Daniel “Doc” Reardon, we actively choose to work with, buy from and partner with local organisations, Aboriginal businesses, charities and community groups across Western Australia.

From the businesses in our supply chain to the employment pathways we open through partnerships like Clontarf, every decision we make reflects our belief that communities deserve genuine investment — not just recognition. We are growing these partnerships and look forward to adding more in the years ahead.

Our partnerships are built on respect, trust and a shared belief that Indigenous businesses and communities deserve a seat at the table, not as a token, but as genuine contributors to the future of this industry.

Aboriginal Partnerships

Clontarf Foundation – Partner

D&S Group proudly partners with the Clontarf Foundation. Our Managing Director, Daniel “Doc” Reardon, was one of the Academy’s first Indigenous graduates and also the first Clontarf alumni to lead a company that formally partners with the Foundation — a full-circle moment that demonstrates our commitment to empowering the next generation.

The Clontarf Foundation improves the education, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men. D&S Group provides direct pathways in mechanical maintenance, civil works and field service operations.

Originally, I just went there to go for a kick of the footy and ended up graduating from school."

From Clontarf Alumni to Managing Director

Daniel “Doc” Reardon attended the original Clontarf Academy in Waterford, WA in 2000 — part of the very first cohort when the Foundation was brand new and the model was still being proven. He graduated Year 12 through the programme, at a time when completion rates for young Aboriginal men were low, and credits Clontarf with helping him find direction and discipline.

Today, D&S Group is the first company led by a Clontarf alumni to formally partner with the Foundation — bringing other young Aboriginal men along on that same journey, through real jobs in mechanical maintenance, civil works and plant operations.

Choose the path that benefits you and your family, and surround yourself with great people.” — Daniel Reardon
