D&S Group Expands into Plant Hire — First Bomag Roller Delivered

D&S Group is officially expanding into plant hire —

and the Pilbara just got access to one more reason to choose an Indigenous-owned, locally operated partner for civil, mining and earthworks projects. Our first 19-tonne Bomag padfoot roller has been delivered and is already on the ground at a valued client’s site on long-term hire — marking a major milestone in the growth of our business and the depth of services we can now provide. 
 
For years, we have been delivering specialist mechanical maintenance, shutdown execution, civil works and field service support across the Pilbara. Adding quality, fit-for-purpose equipment hire to that offering means our clients can access trusted machinery backed by a team who know the ground they’re working on.

The Bomag BW 219 PD-5 padfoot roller

is a high-performance compaction machine ideally suited to the demanding conditions of Pilbara civil and earthworks projects. Padfoot — or sheepsfoot — rollers are the industry standard for compacting cohesive soils, sub-base preparation, embankment construction and road rehabilitation.
 

This equipment hire capability enhances the full spectrum of services D&S Group can deploy on civil and mining construction projects, from the earthmoving phase through to maintenance and rehabilitation. Whether clients require compaction plant for road works, site levelling, drainage infrastructure or tailings construction, D&S Group now offers a direct solution without the need to engage a separate hire provider.
